About the Program
Bristol Bay Housing Authority provides weatherization assistance to eligible households throughout the Bristol Bay region. This program helps improve energy efficiency, reduce heating costs, and support safer, more comfortable homes.
Funding for weatherization services is provided by the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy.

Weatherization assistance is designed to improve the energy performance of homes occupied by low-income households, with priority given to:
Elders Persons with disabilities Families with children Households with high energy costs

eligibility
Weatherization assistance is available to income-eligible households. Eligibility is determined using HUD income limits and program guidelines.
Applicants must complete a Weatherization Application and provide required documentation. Placement on the weatherization list depends on eligibility, funding availability, and program priorities.
